Enter your eye-catching, show-stopper motorcycle in our Baddest Bikes Show and compete for Bragging Rights, Trophy and $100 Loewer Powersports - Indian Motorcycle of Alexandria Gift Card. All motorcycles welcome - sport bikes, cruisers, baggers, trikes, etc. Enter Saturday morning between 9A-10A or secure your spot by emailing your name and bike info to lseaman@loewerps.com. 


Best Burger Cook-Off

Prove your grill mastery in our Best Burger Cook-Off! Winner owns 2019 Bragging Rights, Best Burger Cook-Off Trophy & $50 Cash Prize. 1st Place Prize awarded in 2 categories: One picked by a panel of Loewer Guest Judges on taste & presentation, and the "Fan Fave" picked by Cook-Off attendees. Space is extremely limited so get your team entry form submitted ASAP! Entry forms available at Loewer Powersports - submit completed form in store or by email to lseaman@loewerps.com. 

BEST BURGER COOK-OFF RULES

  • Teams can consist of any number of people, 1+.
  • Teams must provide a grill and necessary fuel to cook 2 or more pounds of product per burger entry.
  • Teams can submit up to 3 burger entries for judging.
  • We encourage decorating your cook-off area, but please confine all decorations and furnishings to your allocated space.
  • The only thing provided to burger competition contestants is a regulation cooking area.
  • All property and equipment used for cooking must be confined to your allocated space. All equipment must be free standing – no stakes, post holes, or digging is allowed. Use of sand buckets for tent covers is allowed.
  • No pre-cooking. Cooking may begin after team meeting.
  • All food products must be stored and maintained at safe temperatures.
  • Each team shall supply all their own cooking ingredients, individual cooking devices (propane or charcoal), utensils, preparation tables, etc.
  • All fires must be contained. Absolutely no ground fires or digging pits.
  • No lewd or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated – this is a family-friendly event.
  • Each team is responsible for cleaning up their cook area.
  • Loewer Powersports & Equipment – Indian Motorcycle of Alexandria, vendors, and volunteers will not be held responsible for loss, damage, theft, injury or accidents.
  • Judging begins at 1PM Saturday. Burgers not available at judging station may not qualify.
  • Burgers may earn up to 100 points from each judge – 30 points for presentation/appearance and 70 points for taste. The burger with the highest average point value wins.
  • Each team must submit 2 burgers per burger entry for judging – one must be quartered with each quarter secured with a toothpick; this burger will be used to judge taste. One will be left intact and judged for presentation only.
  • Teams are encouraged to have bite size sections of finished burgers secured with toothpick available at their area from 1PM-1:30PM for attendee tasting – fan fave voting ends at 1:30PM.
  • Winners in both categories announced at 2PM. ALL RESULTS ARE FINAL. Teams are reminded this is a friendly cooking event and competition. Sportsmanship is required at all times.
